Setracker Application Set Up for Kids GPS Watches

To begin with, you need to download the App. There are several ways to do it.

1. Search it on Google play or Apple store.

For Android Phones, enter into play.google.com and type SeTracker or SeTracker2, then you can download it in your phone.

For ios phones, search SeTracker or SeTracker2 in Apple store. Then you can see app as follow.

2. Scan QR code on the packing box and which is always you can find at the buttom of boxes or in the watch interface for some models.

Second, create user account on the application.

1. Register Account.

2. Scan or enter into the device ID.Each device has only one unique ID, it can be only be used once, and it is the access to connect between watch and phone.

3. Device ID. Normally you can find the ID number on the back of the watch or the outside of the box. And it is always with IMEI number. It could be in the form of a barcode or a QR code.

4. Choose language and server location. After you scan the device ID and fill into the account name and password. You got to choose the language and server in you area before you finish it. The language we have now are: English, Türkiye, Português, Español, Deutsch, ภาษาไทย. And there are 5 sever around world now, they are Hong kong, Asia and oceania, North America, South America, Europe and Africa.

5. Log in. Use the account name and pass word to log in. For example, we create an demo account.

After we finished all these, then we are about t try the kids watch. Install the SIM card in the watch and set SOS numbers for contacts. M

About Setracker application security concerns

There have lately been some negative feedback and concerns of the APP SeTracker/SeTracker2, some users have been worried about the safety of the device parameter which they use. What they worry about can be listed as below:

If the watch can be spied by hackers easily?
If the parameter stored safely in the server?
An ID can be registered twice?

Moreover, the the Norwegian Consumer Council (NCC) has analyzed four smart watch for children. These devices were all bought in Norwegian stores, and are called Gator 2, Tinitell, Viksfjord (which using SeTracker ) and Xplora.

SeTracker have more than 4,200,000 total downloads around the world, our devices are some of the Setracker users, and therefore we need to clarify the security concerns.

Setracker have passed the application security measurement of Alibaba Security Team in China/Global, with encrypted interface and strong network firewall, data backup everyday. With technical support to prevent DDOS attacks, blocking password cracking, SQL injection, XSS cross site and other hacker attacks. Setracker is using the https certificate of Symentec (Symantec is the world’s fourth largest independent software company, after Microsoft, Oracle and SAP, and also the world’s largest information security vendors and service providers). Data transmission will not be attacked.

1. -If the watch parameter is easily spied and control by hackers?

Absolutely NO!

The original password of each device to check the watch parameter is “123456”. After the user get the device, you can use your cell phone send the text:”pw,123456,pw,******#”to the watch number by SMS (****** means the new password), after that, the new text to check the parameter is :“pw,******,ts#”. Moreover, when you want to change the center number, the SOS number, monitor the watch, you need to insert the password on the text. Also, Setracker requires the user login account to access, without password to login hackers can not get any information on the server and track the user, The server has anti-attack and anti-password crack function, hackers do not know the user’s account, but also can not get the password and track the watch. By this two way security, hackers do not know the watch parameter: IMEI, ID, register code, and could not monitor the watch any more, it’s absolutely safe!

2. -If the parameter stored safely on the server?

Absolutely YES!

Setracker is a huge information processing system with protective hacking, Setracker has never been attacked and exposed the location information and will prevent it from happen in the future. Setracker server is safe and the account information is encrypted.

3. -An ID can be registered twice?
-Absolutely NO!

Each ID is unique and can only be register once, the second register will show as: “Device number already registered, please contact your agent to restore!”

You can send SMS commands to the watches from any phone.
Default factory password: 123456 (or sometimes 523681).
PHONE NUMBER is starting with “+” and with your country code. eg for Sweden +46702223344
All SMS commands should never have gaps!
The main requirement is a 2G SIM card (it’s normal, standard, for trackers, Internet gadgets and other epithets), and not newfangled for 3G / 4G networks and 4G / LTE smartphones. In some regions there are operators that do not have networks in the 2G band.
